After obtaining his degree of Animal care technician in 1996, he worked more than 15 years in private industries such as Sanofi, Intervet Pharma (France) and Merck Serono in Geneva where he  was manager and quality delegate of the animal facility from 2004 to 2012. With these knowledge in animal welfare and management, he joined Christian Lüscher's lab in October 2012 where he was responsible of the Behavioral Facility for the Faculty and take care of the breading of mice transgenic lines and several works in vivo.
